Bishops Daly & Mehaffey award (presented by Inner City Trust) for an outstanding performance in the school competitions – Thornhill College Senior Choir (conductor:  Elizabeth Quigley) for their performance of Ta Na Solbici by Samo Vovk

Sing Ireland Conducting Scholarship for the most promising conductor in the national competitions or a participant in the conducting masterclass – Ciara Murphy (conducting masterclass participant)

Contemporary Music Centre award for the best performance of a piece by a composer from Ireland – Continuum Youth Choir, Ireland (conductor: Blánaid Murphy) for its performance of The Old Woman by Rhona Clarke

Derry City & Strabane District Council award for outstanding contribution to the festival – Chamber Choir of the University of Lisbon, Portugal (conductor Luís Almeida) for their moving performance in Bishop’s Field Community Centre, Creggan

Bishop’s Gate Hotel award for an outstanding performance of a work composed before 1750 in the international competition – Continuum Youth Choir (conductor: Blánaid Murphy) for their performance of O Lieber Herre Gott by Heinrich Schütz

City Hotel award to the conductor of the most interesting and varied programme in the International Competition – Blánaid Murphy (Continuum Youth Choir, Ireland)

 Visit Derry award for an outstanding competitive or non-competitive performance by a first-time participant – Madrid Male Choir, Spain (conductor: Juan Pablo de Juan)
